One of our beautiful Founding Mothers, Lizzy Naameh, was recently featured in an op-ed in UCLA's school newspaper, the Daily Bruin. She is a fourth year international development studies student of Lebanese origin at UCLA and the Undergraduate Student's Association Council General Representative 3. Clearly, our empowered sister is making waves on the UCLA campus and we couldn't be more proud. In her article, "Advertisements should be subject to ethical questions," Lizzy discusses the implicit facts of oppression in our communities and their effects on us as Arab Americans. You can read the op-ed here. Your sisters are very proud of you Lizzy and we look forward to seeing all the more you accomplish in the future.❤
